Featuring guest speaker Sheena Collier, Founder & CEO, Boston While Black Sheena Collier is a catalyst for change, master connector, and a forward-thinking visionary. She has two decades of expertise in partnership development, growth strategy, and brokering relationships that inspire action. As the Founder and CEO of The Collier Connection (TCC), Sheena collaborates with mid-to-large-sized companies, startups, and anchor institutions to design inclusive spaces, initiatives, and events. She has orchestrated digital campaigns, in-person events, and programs that have left a lasting impact on audiences ranging from 25 to 25,000. In 2020, Sheena launched Boston While Black, a digital and in-person membership network designed for Black professionals, students, and entrepreneurs seeking connection and community. Through BWB, she's not just cultivating a network; she's building a scalable method to shape cities where Black people thrive. BWB's partnerships with corporations, universities, and government entities are reshaping city and corporate cultures to magnetize and retain Black talent. Sheena is a 2022, 2023, and 2024 recipient of the Boston Magazine 150 Most Influential Bostonians, a 2022 Boston Business Journal Power 50 Movement Maker, and a 2021 Get Konnected Most Impactful Woman. Her accolades also include the 2020 Harvard Club Boston's Most Influential Women award and the 2020 YW Boston's Academy of Women Achievers Sylvia Ferrell-Jones Award. In 2018, she was honored with the GK25 - Who is Who Millennial Leaders of Color Award, and in 2016, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce recognized her with the Ten Outstanding Young Leaders Award. Sheena received her BA from Spelman College and an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Governor Maura Healey appointed her as a board member of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, adding to her list of influential roles as a board member of Union Capital, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, advisory board member of Boston Harbor Now, investor in the Boston Ujima Fund, and member of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA).
