Young Philanthropist Award
WID has an established tradition of recognizing and celebrating philanthropy of all kinds and at all levels. Honoring young people who embrace the notion of giving back to society and making their communities a better place is a value that WID truly embraces.
Through the Young Philanthropist Award and the Young Volunteer Award, WID recognizes young people who have stepped forward as extraordinary volunteers and fundraisers for nonprofit organizations and who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, creativity and effort either through volunteer service or raising funds. The goals of the awards are to recognize young leaders who inspire philanthropy, to illuminate the vital contributions made by young philanthropists that advance the missions of nonprofit organizations and to highlight a model of philanthropic practice for future generations.
