Women in Development of Greater Boston

The Program Committee Presents:

StrengthsNetworking© – Use Your Strengths to Network Naturally and Effectively”

Read the summary from this program

Speaker: Ed Evarts

Often times we hear networking referred to as an art. This creates the impression that only certain people can network in a skilled or talented way. Each of us however have strengths or "things we are really good at." Have you taken the time to identify your strengths and apply them to networking activity? Forget the "thirty-second commercial" and rely on your unique set of strengths to network comfortably and effectively. In this interactive workshop, achieve rewarding results by understanding how your strengths can help you network naturally.

Ed Evarts is the practice leader at Evarts Coaching, an organization focused on coaching mid- to senior-level executives, and their teams, in corporate environments.

He has held leadership roles at the (former) Federated Department Stores, (former) May Department Stores and Iron Mountain, all of which are multi-location, multi-state and multi-cultural organizations. In his role as a human resources executive, Ed has supported employees in a variety of functional areas including sales, account management, marketing, operations, information technology, engineering, finance, accounting, legal, and human resources.

Known for his business acumen, his ability to resolve complex human relations issues, and his enthusiastic, genuine, accessible and responsive style, Ed has guided many managers, executives and business teams from objectives to results.

Ed received his coach certification through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).  He is the Vice President of Finance and Administration for the New England Chapter of the International Coach Federation and a Board Member-at-Large for the Association of Career Professional – New England.  Ed is also a volunteer student mentor in the Wakefield Adult Mentors (WAM) program and a volunteer coach for the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP) at Babson College.
