"The Ins and Outs of Family Philanthropy"

On Wednesday, October 13, WID members welcomed Lisa Spaulding, philanthropic advisor with The Philantrhopic Initiative (TPI), for our first Brown Bag Lunch program of the fall season. The interactive discussion included Lisa’s insights on some of the common characteristics of family foundations. Comments on the varied dynamics behind their operations set the groundwork for a discussion about best practices for stewarding and cultivating these sometimes complicated donor relationships. Lisa also shared some of the resources available to fundraisers and nonprofits through TPI.
