"A Conversation with Beth S. Klarman, President, The Klarman Family Foundation"

On September 15, 2010, almost 200 people gathered at The Colonnade Hotel for a special opportunity to hear from Beth S. Klarman, philanthropist and president of The Klarman Family Foundation. In fireside-chat style, Usha Pasi, WID President and Chief Development Officer at Facing History and Ourselves, engaged Beth in a series of questions pertaining to her experiences (both positive and negative) as a philanthropist and board member; suggestions for development officers and organization presidents; and her hopes for the next generation of philanthropists. Beth’s candid, thoughtful answers provided a rarely-available perspective on maximizing our work with top donors at our organizations and connecting with philanthropists from the community. WID is incredibly thankful to Beth for making the 2010 Fall Kickoff Event productive and memorable.
