Women in Development: Celebrating A Quarter Century
The Brown Bag Committee Presents:
"The Case for Stewardship: Bringing Your Donors to
Their Highest Level of Philanthropy"
This event is sold out.
Speaker: Julia Emlen, has worked in various
positions in development for more than fifteen years. She
was part of Brown University's successful Campaign for the
Rising Generation. Her consulting work focuses on issues
of stewardship and donor relations. She is a frequent speaker
at CASE and Technical Development Corporation on topics
ranging from development communications to organizing and
planning for stewardship and donor relations.
Today, a proliferation of non-profit organizations offers
meaningful services to promote the common good. As the number
of non-profit organizations increases, donors have greater
choices for their philanthropy and they are more critical
in their charitable investment decisions. Attracting donors
and sustaining their giving over a lifetime are important
stewardship activities. How can stewardship promote philanthropy?
How can stewardship be best managed to reduce the cost of
fundraising and bring donors to their highest level of philanthropy?
In this workshop, you will discover new ways to conceptualize
and deliver stewardship services for the advancement of
your overall philanthropy program.
