Women in Development: Celebrating A Quarter Century
The Brown Bag/Dialogue Committee Presents:
"Why Brand Matters"
Speaker: Michele Levy is a seasoned brand
strategist who combines an understanding of the nonprofit
sector with over 15 years marketing and communications experience
to develop brands and integrated communications programs
that help organizations effectively deliver on their mission.
Her recent work includes the successful renaming/rebranding
of Historic New England (formerly SPNEA). Michele also conducted
the initial research and planning that formed the foundation
for WID's current branding initiative. She serves on the
Alumnae Outreach Committee of the Radcliffe Institute, and

from Boston University.
Join us for a highly interactive and informative discussion
of why brand matters in the nonprofit sector. Brand strategy
consultant Michele Levy will lead a lively conversation
around the definition of brand, the impact of effective
branding on communications and development, and how to maximize
the value of your brand.
We will review brief case studies that illustrate best
practices, discuss common challenges and pitfalls, and address
your specific questions around branding and communications.
Please come with your own questions, success stories and
anecdotes! Register early, as space is limited.
