Women in Development: Celebrating A Quarter Century

Rescheduled event from January 6th.

The Brown Bag/Dialogue Committee Presents:

"Personal Empowerment and Creating an Authentic Career"

Speaker: Kira McGovern is a Certified Professional Coach and social entrepreneur with 15 years leadership experience growing values-based enterprises. She is the founding Executive Director of Giving New England and co-founder of The LiveSafe Foundation. As President of The Big Groove, Kira coaches individuals and teams who want to bring the best of who they are to the world. She helps people fully express their unique gifts by living from their values, defining and embodying their vision of success, and achieving meaningful professional and personal goals. Kira completed advanced training with the internationally renowned Coaches Training Institute and specializes in relationship systems.

What kind of relationship do you have with your career? Is it a steamy love affair? A deeply committed relationship that's comfortable as an old shoe? Is it a playful flirt? Or on the verge of divorce? If your career could speak, what might it tell you about how to get from where you are to where you want to be?

Regardless of your current situation, this dialogue session is for you. Come and join an interactive forum designed to unveil your relationship with your career and discover what's next for you. Tips will be shared to help identify your highest dream and uncover anything that is holding you back. Attendees will be guided through a process that will help them identify steps for gaining greater insight on how to have an even more satisfying and enriching career.

Happily successful people consciously design a relationship with their career that brings out the best of who they are. Kira will help you access your unique voice and create action steps that will keep you focused and inspired. Empower yourself to manage your career in 2005 and reach your true potential. Be sure to attend…your future depends on it!
