Meet the President - Ilisa Hurowitz
Ilisa joined Marts & Lundy in 2000 as a senior consultant bringing with her 20 years of broad development experience. Currently, she leads Marts & Lundy's Gift Planning Group. Prior to joining the firm, she served as vice president, financial resource development and endowment with Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston and also served as associate director, major gifts for Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences during the University's $2.1 billion capital campaign, and as director of planned giving at Wellesley College.
Ilisa is an accomplished and frequent speaker at conferences and has presented for CASE, the Planned Giving Group of New England and Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has served as past president of the Planned Giving Group of New England, past co-chair of the National Committee on Planned Giving Syllabus Sub-committee, and on the Editorial Board of Planned Giving Today. In addition, she is currently a member of the Development Committee of the Belmont Day School (MA) and a former member of the Board of the Ballet Theater of Boston and past president of the Cornell Club of Boston. Ilisa is also a licensed attorney, who practiced law in Boston before beginning her development career.
