Annie Chase Foundation

The Annie Chase Foundation is an organization that supports
the continuing education of intensive care unit nurses.
Arts Incentive Program
Project Manager: Rachel Smith-Silver
Volunteers: Sandra Davidow and Wendy Glaas
The Arts Incentive Program uses art as a clinical and expressive
tool to help youth work through their difficulties; it links
young people with community arts organizations, youth development
projects and artist mentors as an incentive toward healing
and hope for a positive future.
The Brain Trust

The Brain Trust is an organization that uses technology

Centro Latino
Project Manager: Katie DeBonville
Volunteers: Susannah Kerest and Sarah Schieron
Centro Latino de Chelsea was created in 1989 to enhance
the quality of life and promote the self-determination of
Latinos in Chelsea and surrounding communities through economic
development, education, health, and social well-being strategies.
The Economic Justice Project
Project Manager: Rebecca Ehrhardt
Volunteer: Caroline Campbell
The Economic Justice Project, a project of the Lawyers'
Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law of the Boston Bar
Association, utilizes the skills and resources of business
attorneys to provide free legal business assistance to low-income
entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding for-profit businesses
located in under-served communities in Greater Boston.
Ella J. Baker House
Project Manager: Terri Hootstein
Volunteers: Megan Donovan and CJ Tolman
The Ella J. Baker House helps out high-risk youth avoid
violence, achieve literacy and access jobs. They do this
by offering counseling and programs that keep the kids off

The Garden of Peace

Volunteers: Cariann Harsh
The Garden of Peace is a memorial to victims of homicide
sponsored by a broad coalition of individuals and violence
prevention and victim service groups with the support of
city and state government.
The Improbable Players
Project Manager: Diane Zapach
Volunteer: Kristen White
Improbable Players is an educational theater company made
up of professional actors who are also recovering alcoholics
and drug addicts whose mission is to educate the public
about the devastating effects of alcohol and drug abuse.

South Africa Partners generates long-term mutually beneficial
partnerships between the United States and South Africa
in the areas of health, education and economic development.

St. Marks Area Main Streets

Volunteers: Eleni Eliades and Melissa Geoffrey
St. Marks Area Main Streets works with local business, residents
and community organizations to revitalize their local business
district and strengthen their community. The organization
is affiliated with Boston Main Streets and the National
