Friends of Boston's Homeless
Friends of Boston's Homeless works in a public/private partnership with Boston Public Health Commission's Homeless Services to develop and fund effective, solution-oriented programs that help the homeless move beyond shelter to lead independent lives in the community. Through advocacy and education, the Friends also seek to increase public awareness and understanding of the realities of homelessness and provide a way for individuals and businesses to be part of the solution.

Sportsmen's Tennis Club provides high-quality, affordable tennis and academic support programs for the children of Boston and has been a safe haven for the children of Boston's communities for more than 40 years.

PTD uses pop culture to increase the power of unheard voices in civic dialogue and policy formation to ensure equity and fairness for all. PTD furthers its mission by providing disenfranchised people venues for message creation, amplification, and engagement in action. By enabling people to think differently about their power to create change, PTD transforms individuals, communities and society at large.

Based in the belief that homelessness is solvable, Give Us Your Poor aims to create a revolution in public will towards understanding and acting to solve homelessness.

Dress for Success Boston
DFSB provides low-income women with interview-appropriate clothing as they try to enter or re-enter the workforce. The organization dresses, coaches and mentors women trying to regain control of their lives and those of their children through economic independence. DFBS runs an educational support group for the newly employed woman with monthly seminars on topics relevant to achieving success in the working environment.

A nonprofit association of Boston-based independent documentary filmmakers, FC, Inc. supports the production of independent documentaries that increase public understanding and dialogue about social, cultural, racial, historical, political and environmental issues. FC, Inc. also works to educate and inform the public about documentary films and the filmmaking process.
